Legends at Harvest Concert

THE Spier Harvest Legends Concert on 21 February (20:00), as part of Spier’s first harvest festival, will feature some of South Africa’s great performing artists on one stage. The legends include Judith Sephuma, Koos Kombuis, Melanie Scholtz, Zanne Stapelberg and Nomfusi Gotyana, accompanied by the Harvest Festival Symphony Orchestra – a group of handpicked musicians led by conductor Brendan Phillips. The concert will feature best-loved songs including “Lisa se Klavier” and an Afrikaans translation of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” (Koos Kombuis), Uthando and Miriam Makeba medley (Nomfusi Gotyana) and Judith Sephuma favourites.
