Picnic festival at Bien Donné

BE part of the 350 years of Cape Wines celebrations and have loads of fun at the 5th Cape Country Picnic Festival at Bien Donné from 13 to 15 February. The festival is open during Valentine’s weekend and romance is a definite focus point at this year’s festival. Don’t miss the chance to see the original McCully Workshop’s 60 Something Show (20:00) on 13 and 14 February. Both evenings will consist of the great 60’s music as well as something from the 70’s and 80’s and of course, a few love songs on valentines evening! Tickets are R100 per person. Come and enjoy a picnic on Saturday and Sunday. Browse between the food and wine stalls and buy your picnic goodies from the stall holders. Relax on the big lawn while listening to the mellow sounds of Bacchus II. The festival closes Saturday at 16:00 and re-opens at 18:00. Kids are well catered for over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Entrance fees are R50 per person for daytime sessions and R100 per person for the evening’s 60 Something concerts.
