IN the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Backsberg Estate has decided to combine the things people love the most – eating decadent food, drinking good wine, harvesting and grape stomping. This romantic morning on 14 February will include coffee and muffins on arrival, grape harvesting, a champagne brunch, grape stomping and a cellar tour with Simon Back. The day’s programme starts at 08:00 at Backsberg Estate on the Simondium Road, Paarl. Tickets cost R300 per couple, or R175 per person.
