A TALK presented by the Western Cape Play Therapy Association will be held on 12 February at the Tygerbear Training and Counselling Centre (near Tygerberg Hospital). Dr Cathlene Seller, a psychiatrist at the Child and Adolescent Unit at the Tygerberg Hospital will speak about the life and challenges of an adolescent from 09:00.

Topics will include development during adolescence, problem behaviour and management thereof, suicide, delinquency and violence, oppositional defiance and conduct disorder, substance abuse, pregnancy and school failure and refusal.

Tickets for non-members are R100 and the presentation is accredited for social workers and psychologists.
