Paarl Mountain community hack

THE fifth Paarl Mountain Community Hack will take place at Silver Tree Kloof on Saturday 13 August, from 09:00 to 11:00.
Meet at the Victoria Dam T-junction. They will remove the last few stinkbean trees from the kloof and do some stacking of the removed trees. Please bring gloves, a pick, tree poppers and refreshments.
The inaugural meeting of Friends of Paarl Mountain, is that same day from 11:30 to 13:30. The venue will be the Meulwater picnic site on the Jan Phillips Mountain Drive.
* The fifth Guided Mountain Walk takes place on Saturday 20 August from 14:00-16:30. Meet at the main gate of the Reserve.
* There will be a spring botanical ramble on 27 August, from 15:00 to 17:00 in the burnt area on the northern side of the mountain. Meet at the main gate of the Reserve.
* The Winelands Branch of the Botanical Society will be joining the Friends of Paarl Mountain for a picnic and spring walk on Sunday 28 August. Meet at the Meulwater picnic site on Jan Phillips Mountain Drive at 12:30.
