KUNSWERKE van bekende kunstenaars word op 18 Maart om 19:00 by Laerskool Noord-Eind uitgestal.
Van die kunstenaars wat uitstal, is Portchie, At Botha, Estie Mostert, Sonnette Olls, Bosch, Phillip Britz, Paul Munro, Pieter Lessing en Estelle du Plessis. Daar sal ’n vingerete en wynproe wees en vermaak en sang deur gewilde sanger Pieter Smith. Kaartjies is R80 en beskikbaar by die skool. Kontak Anne-Marie by 021-872-4237 * Kaapse Kabaret. Die aktrise-sangeres Zenobia Kloppers is op 13 Maart by die Universiteit van Stellenbosch se Woordfees te sien in Die Kaapse Kabaret. Die produksie begin 20:00 in Stellenbosch in die Fismersaal (konservatorium vir musiek). Kaartjies is R65 by Computicket (083-915-8000). * Symphony Orchestra. The University of Stellenbosch Symphony Orchestra offers its first performance of Mahler’s Symphony No 1 on Saturday 7 March at the Endler Hall at 20:00. This tremendous piece, arguably one of the most exciting and accessible works written for symphony orchestra, is characterised by birdsong, folk dances, a funeral march and a huge finale.
