A CULINARY legend is to visit Franschhoek. Peter Barham, professor of Molecular Gastronomy, will be appearing at The Screening Room at Le Quartier Français on 26 March at 15:30 and on 27 March at 11:00.

Well known for his revolutionary physical, biological and psychological scientific approach to food, Barham is a modern day culinary legend. His renowned talks whisk attendees away on myth busting and skill-enhancing adventures.

When he’s not lecturing at various venues around the world, Barham collaborates with Heston Blumenthal (of the Fat Duck) and other iconic chefs.

His book, The Science of Cooking, is used as a text by many catering colleges and is hugely popular with the general public. He has won numerous auspicious awards for his work with food and his conservation efforts with penguins.

Join Barham and discover how to push the boundaries of what’s possible with food. There is a space limit of 30 people per session so bookings are essential.

Tickets are R100 per person. All money raised will be donated to penguin conservation work.

For bookings, e-mail Robyn at robyn@lqf.co.za and a pre- payment via credit card will secure your booking.
