THE Department of Health will hold door-to-door campaigns in Drakenstein next week during TB Week.

The theme of the week is “Stop TB, complete your treatment”, “Stop TB, open the windows”.

On Monday they will be in the Carterville area at Khanya centre (Wellington) and in Fairyland (Paarl). On Tuesday they will be in White City (Mbekweni) and the Amstelhof area.

On Wednesday they will visit the Allan-dale and Drakenstein prisons and on Thursday 26 March they will be in the Brickfields area and E de Waal (Paarl South) and at Versailles farm, Hexberg (Wellington).

On Friday 27 March a certificate ceremony will be held at the Allandale Hall at 10:00 to honour TB patients who were cured in 2007.

This event aims to re-emphasise the importance of adhering to treatment by rewarding those who have successfully completed their treatment.
