Be the next Mark Shuttleworth
2009-03-26
IF you think you have what it takes to be the next Mark Shuttleworth, then take heed. The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is calling South Africa’s brightest Grade 12 learners with the chance to make their future dreams come true on 18 April through writing the Alternative Admissions Research Project (AARP) Test. This will allow learners the opportunity to gain access to the Foundation’s Fellowship Programme which offers a full scholarship and aims to develop Allan Gray Fellows as potential future entrepreneurs. These tests afford all applicants the same opportunity to display their academic ability and potential in the areas of Mathematics and English. The tests do not require any specialist knowledge and as such do not require any preparation or studying. However, matrics must book to write as soon as possible. The Fellowship Programme was created with matriculants in mind who are intending to pursue undergraduate university degrees in commerce, engineering and science (excluding medicine). There are no contractual obligations. For further information on how to apply to write the AARP test, call 0861-239-235 or visit www.allangrayorbis.org.
