THE Drakensberg Boys’ Choir will perform at Backsberg Estate on Friday 3 April at 19:30.
This world-renowned choir will perform at the estate amidst wooden wine vats in the historical Vat Cellar.
The evening will include a two-part programme, with Mediterranean platters served afterwards.
The first half consists of classical works such as Bach and Palestrina and gradually gains a faster tempo with songs such as Tequila Samba and Queen’s We Will Rock You. The second half of the programme is made up of a collage of South African folk music.
Tickets cost R125 (including the platter). Backsberg wines will be available for purchase as well.
