ALL retired teachers are invited to the launch of the Retired Teachers’ Association on Saturday 28 March at Oude Molen Technical High School in Pinelands, Cape Town, at 11:00.
With their wealth of accumulated experiences, knowledge and skills, retired teachers constitute a valuable, but untapped educational resource in communities.
This association could serve as a vehicle through which this resource could be utilised to help promote excellence in public education. The objective is to establish a strong and vibrant association that is in line with the national constitution, will cut across the ethnic, culture, religious and gender divide.
