2009-04-09
A PASSERBY made a grizzly find in Mbekweni on Monday morning, when he came across the body of a new-born baby. The dead baby was discovered in a black rubbish bag in a dry canal between a residential area and Jan van Riebeeck Drive. Police are now trying to locate the whereabouts of the mother of the infant. It is presumed that the baby was abandoned in the plastic bag and left to die. Anybody with information can contact insp Adel Swart at 076-457-1287.
