Public can comment on Paarl budget plans

THE 2009/2010 draft budget and Integrated Development Plan (IDP) Review Report (2007–2012) for Drakenstein is available for inspection and public comment during office hours at libraries and municipal offices in Drakenstein until 30 April. A series of public meetings will also be held to discuss the budget and IDP/Budget Review Report for 2009/2010. There will be a meeting on Wednesday 15 April at 19:00 in the Colibri Hall in Wellington (Ward 2, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 18, 29) and Gouda Sports Hall (Ward 30, 31) for Gouda, Saron and Hermon. A meeting for all organisations and interest groups will be held on 16 April at 19:00 in the Huguenot Community Hall. The meeting for Simondium is on 28 April at 19:00 at the Paarl School Of Skills (Ward 1). The Windmeul meeting is also on 28 April at 19:00 at the Windmeul Primary School (Ward 3). The Paarl West meeting is also on 28 April at 19:00 in Paarl Town Hall (Ward 4, 15, 17, 19) Any inputs or comments must be submitted in writing by 30 April to The IDP Manager, PO Box 1, Paarl, 7646, or e-mail to idp@drakenstein.gov.za or fax to 021-871-1037.
