THIS month Backsberg estate features Stellenbosch-based jazz band ESP Fusion in a concert in the cellar on Friday 24 April from 18:30.
Comprising a pianist, bassist and drummer, this instrumental trio are all thoroughly immersed in the South African music scene.
Influenced mainly by various Cape Ghoema, Funk and Latin styles, they combine these with their own unique sound to produce – as the name suggests – an eccentric mix which will leave you humming their tunes long after the show is over.
