“PLAASKINDERTJIES” a musical written and directed by Hein Poole can be seen at the Old Mill Theatre tonight at 19:30 and on Sunday 19 April at 16:30.
This musical is about young children in and around Wellington and Paarl.
Armed with big dreams and goals, they form a band, but just as the band starts to develop into something greater than their expectations, things start to go terribly wrong, almost causing the end of the band and their dreams.
They are forced to face their problems and have to make the necessary decisions for their future. The story raises one major issue, teenage pregnancy and the difficult choices around that which can make or break so many lives.
Plaaskindertjies is a unique and true to life drama, inspiring both young and old, giving new hope to people caught up in this dilemma.
