THE Ihlumelo Junior Secondary School in Mbekweni has been hard hit by the devastating fire that left about 600 victims homeless over the Easter weekend.
Most of the victims are learners at our school. They have lost most of their valuable assets like clothes, shoes, books, blankets and much more.
These learners are emotionally affected by this disaster and they find it difficult to cope with their school work.
It would be very much appreciated if readers of the Paarl Post could donate items like old clothes, blankets, shoes, food or any other item that may assist the learners.
