THE Western Cape Play Therapy Association, a multi-disciplinary, professional body for play therapists and professionals working with children and their families, invites everyone to join them for a talk on dealing with grieving children.

This will take place on Thursday 7 May at the Tygerbear Training and Counselling Centre (on the Tygerberg Hospital grounds) from 09:00 until 12:30.

The talk will be presented by Licia Blyth Karp who is currently working as a Clinical Social Worker at the UCT Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Red Cross Children’s Hospital where one of her focus areas is to provide assistance to patients and their families in dealing with pain, trauma and end of life and grief.
