Paarl Action soccer wins gold

DURING the past month Paarl Action Sports arena was involved in the Inter Arena Super League Soccer tournament against Montague Gardens, Brackenfell and Claremont arenas. After the round robin games Paarl Arena deservedly walked away with the overall arena floating trophy. Paarl also competed in the finals this past weekend at Brackenfell Arena. In the six divisions Paarl competed in, they walked away with four gold medals and two bronze medals. Paarl Men’s A won gold by beating Brackenfell Men’s A 4-1, Paarl Men’s B beat Brackenfell 5-2 and the Paarl ladies side claimed gold by beating Montague Gardens 13-0. In the u.19 category Paarl beat Montague Gardens 7-1. Both Paarls’ u.23 boys team, as well as the u.30’s team, won bronze medals. The team of the tournament went to the Paarl Men’s B team who were undefeated in all their games.
