THE 5th Autumn Music Weekend in Franschhoek will be held from 15 to 17 May in conjunction with the Franschhoek Literary Festival.

On Friday 15 May at 18:00 award-winning poet, Kobus Moolman, reads selections of his poetry combined creatively with music played by pianist Christopher Duigan.

At 19:00 Music from The Russian Tea Lounge can be seen at La Brasserie. Russians Boris and Elena Kerimov (cello and violin) feature in traditional Russian and Eastern European folk music, classical standards and popular arrangements.

On Saturday at 12:00 the toe-tapping music from around the world played and compiled by virtuoso pianist Christopher Duigan, I Got Rhythm, can be seen at the NGK Church.

Music for a Sunday Morning can be enjoyed at the NG Church on Sunday at 11:30. The Kerimov Trio plays music by Mozart, Handel and Beethoven. At 15:30 on Sunday classical guitarist James Grace, plays music by Spanish composer Isaac Albeniz.

There are many more shows to enjoy at the music weekend.
