* Amaza. This year’s prescribed work for Grade 12 isiXhosa, the thriller Amaza by ZS Qangule, will be staged in the Artscape Theatre daily at 10:00 until 16 May. Book at Computicket or Artscape Dial-a-Seat on 021-421-7695.

* Glaskas. Op Vrydag 15 Mei is die jongmanne van Glaskas te sien by die Dorp-straat-teater. Kaartjies kos R60 per persoon en besprekings kan gedoen word by 021-886-6107.

* Swing. Emo Adams en Niël Rademan is op Saterdag 23 Mei by Die Boer in Durbanville te sien. Hulle sing hul gunsteling goue ou treffers met die nodige flair wat van swing-musiek verwag word.

Maak jou gereed vir die wegpink van ’n traan of twee vir die swing-weergawes van immergroen liedjies soos Groen Koringlande, Jantjie, Sawends en Boereseun.

Die standaard jazz-swing liedere soos Hello Dolly en Fly Me To The Moon sal ook hul verskyning maak.

* Uitstalling. ’n Kunsuitstalling van Anya Adendorff, Madelein Marincowitz en Anthony Sherratt is te sien by die Dorpstraat galery tot 31 Mei.

* Exhibition. An exhibition by Blue de Gersigny of found objects, washed up on the Mouille Point coastline and deliberately gathered over time, are now transformed into sculptures, mobiles, canvases, photographs and sand and will be exhibited from 23 May to 12 June at the Breytenbach Centre in Wellington.

* Festival. With over 45 multiple award-winning authors on the program this year’s Franschhoek Literary Festival from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 May promises to be a hub of shared creative energy. For the full programme visit www.flf.co.za.

* Musical. The Bridge House College production, The Fantasticks can be seen today and tomorrow at 19:00.
