THE Hemanay Trio with Helen Vosloo on flute, Marian Lewin on cello and Malcolm Nay on piano, is widely regarded as the most sought-after South African ensemble in this combination.
The Trio will perform at the La Motte Estate in Franschhoek on Saturday 16 May.
They will perform the Trio in g minor, op. 63, by Carl Maria Von Weber, Trois Gymnopédies by Erik Satie and Suite Antique by John Rutter.
With all three of these musicians being soloists in their own right, it is no surprise that whenever they perform, they attract capacity audiences and standing ovations.
The concert will be presented in the Estate’s historical cellar with its tranquil atmosphere and excellent acoustics.
The concert starts at 19:00 and the entrance fee is R110 per person.
Bookings for the concert can be made at the La Motte tasting venue or by phoning Angela on 021-876-3119. Visit www.la-motte.com for more information.
