THE Paarl School for neurally handicapped children in Brackenfell will be hosting a wine auction at the school on Thursday June 11.
The school is home to 320 handicapped children from across the Peninsula.
State subsidies are insufficient to cover the school’s running costs and it therefore relies heavily on donations and participation from the public.
Tickets for this year’s auction include a five course meal and entertainment. Wines will be auctioned by Beyers Truter of Beyerskloof and Jan Boland Coetzee will be presenting a talk about the wine industry.
Tickets cost R2000 a table (10 guests) or R200 per person.
