SOUTHERN AFRICA’S premier food, wine and lifestyle show, The Good Food & Wine Show, opens its doors from today until Sunday at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Cape Town is buzzing with excitement and tales of eager anticipation for the country’s top culinary exhibition.
Get ready for a spectacular line-up of international BBC celebrity chefs, global trends and gourmet tastes, the best local wines, specialty beers and hands-on workshops by the world’s leading talents!
The show stopping line-up of tops chefs will appear at The Chef’s In Action Theatre.
See the crème de la crème: Ainsley Harriott, the master of fresh, fun, accessible cuisine; Marcos Georgiou, Senior Head Chef for Jamie’s Italian Group; green chef Skye Gyngell, esteemed global chef Mike Turner, and bubly Italian cuisine specialists Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi.
From the Garden to the Kitchen Do your bit for the environment and plant your own veggies, interactive workshops will focus on seasonal recipes, sowing, planting, harvesting, recycling, re-using and reducing your kitchen waste.
City Bites Celebrate the explosion of Cape Town’s exciting restaurant scene all under one roof.
Coffee Creations: Steaming hot… that’s the coffee creation hands-on workshop combined with chocolate pairing.
South African Classic Cocktail and Flare Championship. Get shaken and stirred as you try out recipes at the dedicated bar area in sixty minutes.
The show starts from 10:00 to 21:00 and on Sunday till 19:00. Tickets cost R75 per person and R35 for pensioners and children under 12.
