Four caught burning cables

FOUR people were arrested in Mbekweni on Friday after they were found in possession of stolen copper cables. Mbekweni police received a complaint from a railway station employee in Drommedaris Street that there was no signal between Mbekweni and Dal Josaphat. It was discovered that 10 metres of copper cable had been removed from the railway communication lines. The police searched the surrounding area and came upon five suspects while they were burning the plastic casings off copper cables.
