AWARD-winning French singer Danièle Pascal presents an unforgettable evening of romantic love and French café songs that will warm the heart on Friday 19 June at 20:00 at Die Bôrdienghuis at the Breytenbach Centre in Wellington.
Pascal fans will enjoy new interpretation of a repertoire ranging from Stephen Sondheim to Leonard Cohen, Eartha Kitt to Cole Porter’s vintage hits, through to famous French Café songs from her best-selling album Parisette.
There is a jazzy retake of Pink Martini’s sympathique and a shuffle on Cole Porter’s C’est Magnifique.
Other songs include, Sous le ciel de Paris, Enfin le Printemps, Plaisir d’amour, Que sera sera and many more! A taste of yesteryear, a classic joie de vivre. Danièle has been performing regularly in South Africa for the past 20 years and remains the most influential French performer in Africa.
This show will enchant old and young. She is accompanied on piano by Pieter du Plessis.
