OUR family is extremely upset about the fact that the incorrect photograph was published with the report about the death of anti-apartheid activist Elizabeth (Rocky) Mafikeng in Paarl Post.
Although the correct picture was published last week, after the funeral, no mention was made of the fact that Paarl Post had made such a serious mistake, which has caused us much heartache.

The editor, Anne Kruger, replies: The Paarl Post apologises for the mix-up with the photograph. In the original photograph, taken at Ms Mafikeng’s birthday celebration, she was standing next to a family member, and during the editing process the wrong person on the picture was featured. We regret the error.
