AWARD-winning French singer Danièle Pascal presents an unforgettable evening of romantic love and French café songs that will warm the heart on Friday at 20:00 at Die Bôrdienghuis at the Breytenbach Centre in Wellington.
Pascal fans will enjoy new interpretation of a repertoire ranging from Stephen Sondheim to Leonard Cohen, Eartha Kitt to Cole Porter’s vintage hits, through to famous French Café songs from her best-selling album Parisette.
There is a jazzy retake of Pink Martini’s sympathique and a shuffle on Cole Porter’s C’est Magnifique.
Other songs include, Sous le ciel de Paris, Enfin le Printemps, Plaisir d’amour, Que sera sera and many more! A taste of yesteryear, a classic joie de vivre. Danièle has been performing regularly in South Africa for the past 20 years and remains the most influential French performer in Africa.
