THE coldest nights this year in the Paarl area was experienced on Monday when the temperature dropped to 2,8 degrees Celcius, and snowfalls on the peaks.
Another very cold night was last Tuesday, when the mercury dropped to 3,4 degrees.
The good rains have continued over the last week, with a total of 25 mm measured in the Paarl Valley.
The Wemmershoek Dam continues to rise, and is now 74% full compared to 50% last year this time.
