DURING the 1950’s and early 1960’s a young girl called Margie Fortuin was caregiver to two young girls, Angela and Irene Miller. They were the daughters of Solly and Blanche Miller who lived at 3 Victoria Street, Paarl, for 35 years (Solly was a lawyer).
She loved the two little girls and had a profound influence on their formative years. They too loved her and have never forgotten her. A son, Anthony, was born to Solly and Blanche in the late 1950’s whom she too cared for, for a short while.
Soon after, she left the employ of the Millers and so drifted out of their lives, leaving behind memories of a deeply kind and caring woman. She had two children namely David and Annie which is about all the information we have of her.
We hope she is well and would really love to find her. If anyone can help us we would be extremely grateful.
If anyone can give me information on the whereabouts of Margie Fortuin please contact me on tel 021-434-1265 or 083-270-4128.
