Fake statistics or racism?

Fake statistics or racism?

2009-07-02

HOW biased is the Paarl Post?

Last week son of Mbekweni, police director Mzwandile Tiyo, was portrayed as corrupt in a front page article on fake crime statistics, but when he won an award for station commander of the year, it was relegated to an inside page.

For your information he makes us feel safe in our community by working tirelessly with his team, making sure that crime decreases drastically, not only in terms of statistics, but in reality.

Both he and provincial commissioner Mzwandile Petros are known and respected in Mbekweni and we trust them knowing that they have the best interest of people at heart.

To them awards mean nothing, the safety of people comes first.

When is the DA going to learn that the fact that we are born in Mbekweni does not mean that we are stupid, dumb and corrupt. There is so much talent and intelligence in this black and marginalised community.

We as the women forum in Ward 9 are proud to have them as role models in our little township - continue to do so and let those full of hatred and jealousy destroy themselves.

DA, try your luck some other time and elsewhere, we will defend and support our sons even if they were not ANC members.

What is good is good!
