ENJOY an evening of fashion and glamour for a good cause.
The contestants for the Miss Winelands and Miss Winelands Teen title will present a fashion show, Beauty with a Purpose, on Friday 24 July at 19:00 at Nelson’s Creek.
The Miss Winelands Competition is a project to raise funds for Miqlat Bowy House, a place of safety for children affected by or infected with HIV/Aids in Paarl.
Tickets cost R80 per person including snacks.
On the catwalk the models will wear clothes of well-known shops in Paarl and hand-made ethnic outfits as well as evening gowns and wedding dresses.
The models are the top 14 Miss Winelands finalists and the top eight Miss Winelands Teen finalists.
There will also be exhibitions of jewellery, flowers and beauty products.
Last year’s Miss Winelands winner, Jessica Hodgkinson will be the MC of the show. A cash bar will also be available.
