The Drakenstein Palliative Hospice invites you to their Art Ramble on Saturday 25 July from 11:00 till 15:00. The day will start at Jane se Kunshuis (12 Pastorie Avenue), then goes next door to the Monte Christo Coffee Shop for soup and bread and finish off at The Orange Mill Art Gallery (28 Mill Street) with coffee and cake. Award-winning American pianist Bryan Wallick makes his debut in the Cape Town Concert Series on Saturday 25 July at 20:00 at the Baxter Concert Hall in Rosebank.Wallick will play the Partita No.1 by Bach, Beethoven’s ‘Waldstein’ Sonata, Estampes by Debussy, Scriabin’s Fifth Sonata and the virtuoso showpiece ‘Figaro Fantasy’ by Busoni, based on Liszt’s paraphrase of a melody from Mozart’s opera, ‘The Marriage of Figaro’. Die werk van die portretskilder, Margo de Kock, word tesame met ’n groot verskeidenheid werk deur haar jong kunsleerlinge (6-12 jaar) uitgestal in die Universiteit van Stellenbosch Gallery in Dorpstraat, Stellenbosch. Die uitstalling kan gesien word vandag en môre vanaf 09:00 tot 17:00 en Saterdag vanaf 09:00 tot 13:00. * Kunswerk. Die kunswerke van Hannes Meiring, bekende argitek, is tot 25 Julie by die Red Black and White galery in Distilleryweg, Stellenbosch, te sien. Die uitstalling bestaan uit olieverfwerke en word genoem Soul of an Architect.
