Local athletes to represent Boland

A LARGE team of 45 athletes (22 senior and 24 junior athletes) were selected to represent Boland at the 2009 Nedbank 10km Matha Series Races. This series incorporates the 2009 Nedbank SA 10km Championships. A group of master athletes over the age of 35 years will also represent Boland Athletics in the Master categories at the 2008 Nedbank SA 10km Championships. Local athletes in the Boland Senior and Junior Teams, are Henrico Rooi (Nedbank AC), Adriaan Geldenhuys (CPUT AC), Ferdie Geldenhuys (Boland Landbou), Quarta Wiese, Jana de Jongh, Lara van der Merwe and Mariet van Rensburg (all from Paarl Girls’ High).
