Missed chances for Mbekweni Sundowns

IT was a sweet and sour weekend for Mbekweni Sundowns as they failed to secure extra points in one of their two home Vodacom League matches.
On Saturday Sundowns wasted valuable opportunities to score, and had to settle for a 0-0 draw against current log leader Clyde Pinelands.
Sunday, however, saw a once again in-form Sundowns hammer Trinitarians from Cape Town 4-0.
Sundowns took the lead when leading goal scorer of the season, Eric (Mara) Maxamba, scored his first of three goals in the 11th minute.
Maxamba has already scored 23 goals in the 24 matches he has played.
Bongani (Bobo) Mathiso scored the Paarl team’s fourth goal.
Despite not cashing in in their match against Clyde Pinelands, Sundowns (sponsored by Omnicars Paarl), are still in the fourth position.
