MEZZO-SOPRANO Evgenie Grekova and pianist Irina Puryshinskaja will be performing at the La Motte Estate near Franschhoek on Saturday 15 August at 19:00.
Grekova will be singing extracts from her winning performance at the 2006 UNISA International Singing Competition, and will be supported by her official piano accompanist Puryshinskaja.
This performance will be a treat for all mezzo-soprano lovers. Amongst others, Evgenie will be performing songs by Schubert and by her fellow-countryman Rachmaninoff.
The concert will be presented in La Motte’s historical cellar with its tranquil atmosphere and excellent acoustics. On arrival guests will be welcomed with a glass of La Motte wine and at the end of the concert, a light finger dinner.
