Five-star for Nederburg

NEDERBURG’S 2008 Winemaster’s Reserve 2008 Noble Late Harvest has won both the international and the South African late harvest trophies at the 2009 International Wine Challenge (IWC) in London, as well as a five-star rating in the 2010 Platter’s South African Wine Guide. The luscious yet delicate wine with a vibrant acidity was also a gold medalist at the 2009 Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show, from which Nederburg emerged as the most successful producer. It will be served to the 850 guests attending the IWC gala awards dinner in London later this month Nederburg’s second five-star wine in Platter is the 2008 Ingenuity White, a bold yet nuanced eight-way white blend. The 2010 edition of the Platter’s South African Wine Guide will go on sale later this year.
