ON behalf of my sister, two brothers and our immediate families, I sincerely want to thank the nursing staff and security of ward F5 at Paarl Hospital for their diligent work, their empathy and patience with us during the time that our father, Mogammad Fatie Petersen of Stellenbosch, was hospitalised there.
Our beloved father was in Paarl Hospital from 17 to 19 August, during which time the hospital staff did everything in their power to make his stay a comfortable one.
Sadly, his illness overcame him and he passed away on 20 August.
It is people like them that really make a difference and we would like them to know that they have our utmost gratitude and appreciation. We encourage them to continue with their kind and noble work.Shireen Abrahams
