BASKETBALL COACHES CLINIC
Winelands Basketball is conducting a coaches clinic on Saturday 19 September from 09:30 to 12:30 at the Paarl School of Skills. Coach Todd Meert will be presenting coaching tips. All coaches from Boland are invited. Send an SMS to 084-259-0920 to confirm your attendance.
HORSE RIDING
The 8th Annual Inter-Schools Horse Riding Dressage and Show Jumping Competition will be held at Evergreen Stables on 10 and 11 October. Some of the schools participating will be WA Joubert, Girls’ High, Courtrai, La Rochelle, Gymnasium, Rhenish, Bridge House and Wellington Prep. Spectators are welcome. Entrance is free. * Young Peoples Krieketklub se oefeninge is Maandae, Woensdae en Donderdae (nette) vanaf 17:00 op Daljosafat. Saterdag (19 September) vanaf 09:00 tot 12:00 word daar ’n nette-sessie op die Dal aangebied. Kontak 083-956-3266. Die klub hou vanaand (19:30) ’n algemene vergadering by die klubhuis. Die klub is op soek na keurders,bestuurders en funksie-komiteelede.
* Bergrivier Krieketklub hou elke Donderdag vergaderings by die klubhuis om 19:30. Oefeninge geskied 17:00 elke dag. Die eerste span speel 19 September teen Bishop Lavis Krieketklub om 10:30. Kontak 084-772-1183.
ROAD RACE
The Adam Kock 10 km Road Race, presented by Athletics Alive and Correctional Services, will take place on Saturday 19 September at 08:00, at the Allandale Correctional Centre. The entry fee for the 10km is R30 (seniors) and R20 (juniors). The entry fee for the 5km is R10 (seniors) and R5 (juniors). Contact Freddie on 021-877-5724/076-303-9367.

ATHLETICS ROAD RUNNING WORKSHOP
FROM 19 to 20 September, a road running workshop will be held to develop the skills and to qualify road running organisers, delegates, referees, and officials in the skills of organising and regulating road races at the Picardie Guest Farm in Paarl.
