Cross country athletes win medals

A large team of 50 athletes, consisting of senior, junior and youth athletes, were selected to represent Boland at the ASA Cross Country Champs on 12 September in Pretoria. The Boland team won the most medals by a Boland Cross Country team since 1997. Local medal winners were Moniquean Lombaard from Paarl, Adriaan Geldenhuys from CPUT AC in Wellington (men’s u.21 team) and Dicardo Jacobs from Maties AC. They all won silver medals.
