Cycling in Paarl

ON Saturday afternoon the Neotel Yorkshire Cycling Club will host a road cycling event in Paarl. The start/finish will be in Breda Street. Cyclists will complete a circuit of approximately 900 metres over a set time plus 2 laps. The club will host races for development riders, u.10’s, u.12’s, u.14’s, u.16’s, as well as veterans and ladies. The juniors, under 23’s and elite cyclists will compete in one race, in the main event of the afternoon. The first race will start at 14:00. Registration and number collection will be from 12:30. Spectators will constantly be able to follow the races and they can position themselves along the circuit. For more information, contact Ian Goetham on 083-949-4501.
