MUSIC by French jazz composer Claude Bolling will be performed at La Motte estate on Friday 9 October and Saturday 10 October at 19:00 with Liezel Stoltz on flute, Victor Tichard on piano, Frank Mallows on drums and Nic Brydon on double bass.
Claude’s work is internationally recognised for his innovative blending of elements of jazz and classical music.
This is sure to be an aural treat not to be missed, with a variety of instruments.
Claude’s two ‘Suites for Flute and Piano Trio’, which are performed as part of Franschhoek Uncorked, have been performed in the world’s largest concert halls with flautists such as Jean-Pierre Rampal and James Galway. This concert will be presented in La Motte’s tasting cellar and guests will receive a welcome glass of La Motte wine on arrival and a finger dinner will be served at the end of the performance.
