Exclusive wines under hammer

RARE and exclusive wines representing the pinnacle of South African winemaking will be on offer at the prestigious 25th annual Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild Auction to be held at the Spier Conference Centre, on Saturday 3 October.

The wines, crafted specially for the Auction by the Guild members who represent some of the country’s finest winemakers, are ready to capture the attention of all those who cherish fine wine.

All the wines on offer are selected meticulously by members of the Guild to represent the apex of South African wine achievement with wines that can stand up to the world’s best.

Distinctly different from wines bottled under the members’ own labels, the Guild’s Auction wines are selected at a blind tasting and only those showing technical excellence and maturation potential are chosen.

The Final pre-Auction Tasting will take place at Spier outside Stellenbosch on Friday 2 October and will be a formal, tutored tasting of the full range of 2009 Auction Wines.

For more information or to find out how you can purchase these rare and exclusive wines, visit www.capewinemakersguild.com, email info@capewinemakersguild. com or call 021-852-0408.
