* Grensoorlog. ’n Legende van die Grensoorlog, kol Jan Breytenbach, praat Vrydag 16 Oktober om 18:30 by die Breytenbach-sentrum oor sy besoek aan Angola. Besprekings kan gedoen word by 021-873-2786.
* Exhibition. Works by Jenny Groenewald will be exhibited at The Gallery at Grande Provence Estate, Franschhoek until 11 November. Bronze sculptures by Angus Taylor, Anton Momberg and Jupiter Studios are also on display.
* Creative. An exhibition titled Arts & Architecture - Creativity Meets Science, is on view in the Spier Gallery until 20 October with Justin Fiske, Mikhael Subotzky, Guy Tillim and Billie Zangewa.

Die Departement Afrikaans en Nederlands bied in samewerking met Kommunico ’n slypskool vir leeskringlede aan by die Universiteit van Stellenbosch op Woensdag 28 Oktober (09:00 tot 16:00), Donderdag 29 Oktober (09:00 tot 16:00) en Vrydag 30 Oktober (09:00 tot 12:00).
