Stand-up comedy in Paarl Town Hall

Stand-up comedy in Paarl Town Hall

2009-10-15

CAPE TOWN stand-up comedian Wayne McKay’s new show entitled Cape Flats Mosaic gives the audience a fresh and innovative take on the Cape Flats experience.

It will be presented at the Paarl Town Hall on 17 November at 20:00, with part of the proceeds going to Cansa.

The show will take the audience to spaces they love to revisit, their childhood and particularly their high school experiences.

The show engages story-telling down memory lane as well as focusing on current issues in South Africa from Julius to Caster.

The audience can expect to see footage on screen shot entirely in the Bo-Kaap which takes stand-up comedy to a new level.

McKay’s android imitations of politicians and rugby coaches will have audience members rolling in the aisles.

The show also pays tribute to the late Michael Jackson.

Tickets are R80 from Michelle on 078-990-7981 or send an email to yazerievents @gmail.com.

For more information about the show or for any CANSA and cancer related queries, contact Felicity Philander on 023-342-7058.
