AS part of the Franschhoek La Motte Classic Music Festival (30 October to 1 November) a special concert will be presented in the Dennegeur Hall in Franschhoek on Saturday 31 October at 16:00.
This concert will feature young local musicians as well as visiting musicians from the festival programme.
These will include young instrumentalists of the Valley Music Project at Bridge House School, festival director and pianist Christopher Duigan, and advanced students from the University of Stellenbosch.
If variety is up your street this is the concert for you, with the vast array of music to be performed and instruments to be played.
Dennegeur is a modern village for local farm workers; the design of the village which is situated a short distance from La Motte, was based on input from the workforce and built to meet the needs of individuals living there. Dennegeur has its own day care centre, a training centre, clinic and sporting amenities.
