ONCE again works from local and international artists as well as wines from award-winning wineries will be on auction at the Grande Roche Hotel on Tuesday 27 October at 18:30 in aid of Rock Community Care, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the upliftment of the greater Paarl area.
Mark Cerfonteyn, Director of Rock Community Care, says, “It’s amazing to see how this event has grown from year to year with the buy in from local artists and wineries being exponential.
“It promises to be another fun- filled evening, but one which will have a lasting effect on many lives!”
All proceeds of the wine and art auction will go to the Pregnancy Crisis Centre, which helps support young girls, providing clothing and other necessities for their babies up to two years per child; the Community Action Team, whose operation includes emergency relief projects, poverty alleviation and provision of clothing and food, and the Flipside Computer Centre which provides a safe environment for learning and gives students access to computers and the internet for completing school projects.
