PAARL Open Gardens can be viewed on 30 and 31 October (10:00 to 17:00).
Five beautiful farm gardens and a variety of town gardens (two small, seven medium) each in an individual style will be open to the public, with the proceeds in aid of Rusoord old age home.
They vary from formal rose gardens, to informal gardens with reception areas around the pool and braai. Some have interesting topiary features.
Farms where wine tastings and light snacks will be available, will be indicated on the map.
Also on view is a craft market at one of the farms (Le Joubert) in Napier Street, Paarl North, also in aid of Rusoord.
