Mayoral Soccer Cup in full swing

THE Mayoral Cup kicked off with great success this weekend at the Boy Louw Sportsgrounds. Saturday saw the men’s soccer teams go head to head, with the women’s teams in action on Sunday. Matches continued on Tuesday evening. Tonight, from 19:00 to 22:00, teams will be in action again at the Boy Louw Sportsgrounds, Mbekweni Soccer Stadium, Mbekweni rugby grounds and Weltevrede’s Sportsfield (19:00 tot 22:00). Teams will once again square off at the same venues from 19:00, on 3 November, 5 November, 12 November. On 14 November games will be played at Boy Louw from 8:00 to 18:00. On Saturday 21 November matches will be played at the Faure Street Stadium all day from 08:00 until 18:00, with the finals taking place on Saturday 28 November at the Mbekweni Soccer Stadium (08:00-18:00).
