NEDERBURG is all geared up for the warmer weather and the start of the picnic season, running from the beginning of November until the end of March. Allow the surrounding mountains, verdant vineyards and magnificent gardens to relax and revive you, while sipping on a glass of wine and feasting on the delicious foods packed in Nederburg’s gourmet picnic baskets. Brimming with freshly-baked bread, a selection of top-quality cheeses, cold meats, pâté, pasta, salads, preserves, coffee and a sweet treat, the picnic baskets are offered at a cost of R140 a head. You’ll receive a complimentary bottle of wine per couple from their Foundation or Winemaster’s Reserve range if you order a picnic basket during November.
