Paarl goes to Pretoria

THE Paarl Tourism Bureau is embarking on a joint venture with a group of local winegrowers and Gerhard Meyer in his capacity as events organiser, to market the destination of Paarl to potential tourists from other parts of our country, in this case, from Pretoria.
In October, Paarl Tourism Bureau and ten Paarl wine growers will travel to Pretoria, to participate in the musical event “Drie van die Bestes”, to be held at the Voortrekker Monument on 30 October.
The concert is billed to attract about 8000 to 10 000 attendees with
much attendant publicity. At the event, Paarl Tourism Bureau will have a hospitality stand, from where they will be distributing the Discover Paarl brochure in collaboration with eight local winegrowers who will be selling their wines.
The “Drie van die Bestes” concert will also be held in Paarl at the Taalmonument Amphitheatre on 10 December.
